Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)
The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is a FREE research-based nutrition education program that helps eligible participants learn how to: eat a variety of nutritious foods, save time and money grocery shopping, handle food safety, move more every day, cook and plan healthy meals, and reduce access barriers.
The nutritional education series is offered through the City of West Palm Beach, FAMU Cooperative Extension Program (CEP).
The Program is open to individuals 13 years of age and older. CEP aims to empower the community by expanding their knowledge of sustainable, affordable, and healthy food options.

El Programa Ampliado de Educación sobre Alimentos y Nutrición (EFNEP) es un programa GRATUITO de educación sobre nutrición basado en investigaciones que ayuda a los participantes elegibles a aprender cómo: comer una variedad de alimentos nutritivos, ahorrar tiempo y dinero en las compras de comestibles, manejar la seguridad de los alimentos, moverse más cada día, cocinar y planificar comidas saludables y reducir las barreras de acceso.
La serie de educación nutricional se ofrece a través de la Ciudad de West Palm Beach y el Programa de Extensión Cooperativa (CEP) de FAMU.
El programa está abierto a personas mayores de 13 años. CEP tiene como objetivo empoderar a la comunidad ampliando su conocimiento sobre opciones de alimentos sostenibles, asequibles y saludables.
