Highlighting Home Community Event

April 30, 2022, 11a.m. to 2 p.m.

More than 60 families and 160 individuals attended. Residents were connected to resources, programs, and services that will help them on their journey “Home” including ownership and/or rental options. They also enjoyed food, music, fellowship, and even face painting.

Many thanks to the teams at Community Partners of S. FL, SOFI, Citi, Career Source, RISE, and our volunteers for participating. 

Pinewood Community Day

April 16, 2022, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In collaboration with CTSO, Healthy Mother’s, Healthy Babies, Mandel Library, Health Council of Southeast Florida, Palm Beach County Black Nurses Association, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., and the WPB Police Department more than 250 residents participated in Pinewood Day. They enjoyed games, food, fellowship, received healthcare information, wellness checks, clothes, recognitions, and more.

Roosevelt Elementary Outreach Event

March 26, 2022, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

22 volunteers walked three communities, knocked on over 550 doors, and captured contact information from 65 individuals for the follow-up to help promote a future meeting about what they would like to see for their children's elementary education. Our volunteers accomplished the goal of welcoming families and invited 175 of them, to learn about the exciting new plans for Roosevelt Elementary during a gathering held Thursday, April 7 at the school.
