Senior Renovation Program Launch

Yesterday, RISE Coleman Park officially launched our Senior Renovation Program — and it means everything to the community we serve.

Coleman Park is a neighborhood with deep roots. Many of our seniors have called this place home for decades, they are legacy residents who have invested in this community through every season. But as pressures mount, staying in place has become a fight. Our Senior Renovation Program exists to change that.

This work would not be possible without the generous support of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties (Danita DeHaney, Ph.D. & Daryl K. Houston). Their investment is directly funding critical home renovations that allow our senior residents to not just remain in Coleman Park but to truly thrive in place.

One of those residents is David Gibson, Sr., a legacy homeowner and proud member of RISE's Resident Advisory Committee. David's story is a reminder of why this work matters. His home is more than a structure; it's a testament to his commitment to this neighborhood, and we are honored to help protect that.

This is what community revitalization looks like: not displacement, but investment in the people who built the community in the first place.

To the Community Foundation for Palm Beach & Martin Counties, thank you for believing in Coleman Park and in RISE. Together, we are writing a new chapter for this neighborhood. 🌱
